In 2009 we started in the El Progreso, Yoro area teaching Taekwondo under the 4/14 Window mission.
The mission of the Honduran Taekwondo Education Foundation is to transform the age of 4/14 by the Taekwondo education. We teach five tenets of Taekwondo, such as courtesy, integrity, persevearance, self control and indominable spirit. For the last seven years, we have been teaching 3,000 students in more than 30 institutions in the areas of El Progreso and Santa Rita, Yoro; San Pedro Sula, Cortes; Tegucigalpa, Fco. Morazán and many other cities in Honduras.

This foundation has been awarded some founding donations from Korea and United States to teach in 15 churches since 2011. We host national champioships since 2010, including the championship for the Korean embassador cup. Each year over 800 atheletes have participated for the last three years.

The foundation has a 50 instructors working hard under the mission of transforming honduran young children. Also, we have a lot of public school's that participate in our program as their P.E. class. In the same way we are working with the international relief organization, such as CDI Compassion International and Children International.
Since 2014, we started a Taekwondo military school in Colegio La Perla del Ulua to build honduran future leaders, extend curriculum of Taekwondo, Bible and Korean. We build Taekwondo gymnasium in La Perla del Ulua to train those students at an international competitors level.

In the future, we are going to plan a Taekwondo instructor certificate program in a university level for two years to qualify them to teach Taekwondo in schools and high school's so that the program is opened in public schools.
In Honduras, there are four million people under the age of 18. The Taekwondo education foundation will build up at least 3,000 certified instructors with black belt for the next ten years and they will teach taekwondo discipline for most children in Honduras to transform their country.
